Been working on a little Isaac mod. It’s based on Regret Pedestals, which leaves a fading image of the items you didn’t take.
I really like this idea. You leave the item behind but it’s still sitting there for a bit. Like, yeah, I saw you. I made my choice. Please stop looking at me.
Added support for a few more cases, including blind items you reroll and the cycling items with Glitched Crown and Tainted Isaac. Works without the extra mod frameworks too.
Put it on the Workshop if you want to have the same tiny regrets.
